CubeSmart Jacksonville

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Status: Completed and opened March 2018.  Sold to a publicly trade REIT August 2019.

 

31 North partnered with PLG Properties, LLC to construct a CubeSmart-branded self storage facility at the corner of I-295 and Atlantic Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. Construction commenced January 2017.

 

The completed four-story facility includes approximately 95,000 gross square feet of climate controlled space.

 

Construction financing was provided by Jernigan Capital, a self-storage focused mortgage REIT (NYSE: JCAP). The property opened in March 2018.
